Sound Files

The following sound file types are available:

Music On Hold

The Music On Hold files are randomly played on the server. There are two submenu options related to hold music:

- Upload sound
If you want to upload a new sound file, select the .mp3 sound file from your PC using the ‘Browse’ button. Click ‘Ok’ to start uploading the file to the server.

Please note: The system will remove very high and low tones on the sound file because the speakers of phones will not be able to play these. Music with high tone fluctuations may suffer some quality loss as a result.

- Remove
Select a sound file from the overview, and click ‘Remove’ to delete the file.

IVR sounds

There are three submenu options related to sounds that can be used for an IVR:

1. Dial *77, start speaking at the tone and record the message you wish to greet callers with. Hangup when finished.
2. After recording or uploading, dial *99 to listen to your message. If you wish to re-record your message, dial *77 again.
3. Enter the filename of your message into the ‘File’ field on the screen.

- Remove
Select a sound file from the overview, and click ‘Remove’ to delete it from the system.
