Remote Phone Reboot
It is possible to remotely reboot an IP Phone by initiating it on the PBX.
Connect to the PBX using a SSH client and the administrator credentials.
Examples of SSH clients are:
You can innitiate a phone reboot by using 'sip notify' followed by one of the following commands:
- aastra-reboot
- cisco-reboot
- grandstream-reboot
- linksys-reboot
- polycom-reboot
- reboot-snom
- sipura-reboot
- snom-reboot
- thomson-reboot
For example, if you require a reboot of a SNOM phone which is registered as extension 210 enter the following: sip notify snom-reboot 210
